Barot is (1,830 m) Just 40 km by road from Joginder Nagar and 12 km by the haulage trolley, Barot packs an enormous range of outdoor activities. The reservoir of the Joginder Nagar Hydel Power Project is located here. A trout breeding centre makes it a wonderful place for angling.

Across the River Uhl is the Nargu Wildlife Sanctuary – home to the ghoral, Himalayan black bear and a variety of pheasants. A trek route through thick forests links Barot to Kullu. There are rest houses at Thaltukhod and Silbadhwani in the Nargu Wildlife Sanctuary.

Itinerary Details

Day 1

Bir – Barot

Arrive at Bir and have small briefing regarding the tour.

After that drive to Barot (Aprox 58 KM from Bir). In Barot you can visit the Reservoir of the Joginder Nagar Hydel Power project, Trout fish breeding center makes it a wonderful place for fishing.

At night, dinner and Bonfire at the camp.

Day 2

Barot – Rajgundha

In the morning after breakfast Trout Angling in Uhl river. After lunch a quick drive to Rajgundha. Rajgundha is approx 20 KM away from Barot.

On the way we will cross, Kothi Kohar, Nalouta and Baragaon village. After reaching at Baragaon village, here is trek start to Rajgundha.

Dinner and night stay with bonfire in Rajgundha camp site.

Day 3

Rajgundha – Billing

Early morning after breakfast trek start to Rajgundha to Billing (Paragliding take-off site) via Hanuman garh with packed lunch. In the evening arrive at Billing enjoy dinner. Night stay in the camp along with Bonfire at top of mountain.

Day 4

Billing – Bir

In the morning after breakfast enjoy paragliding tandem ride from Billing to Paragliding Landing site near Tibetan colony (Bir).

After that Check out.
