Trek to Bara Bhangal
The most remote place is the village of Bara Bangel – a wrapped in a legend people, sandwiched between the Kalihani Mt. (4,800 meters) and Thamsar (4.766 meters) is protected by impregnable mountains and raging river Ravi.
There is no road approach to the present village and folks of the Bara Bhangal village have to be compelled to walk over high mountain pass for 3 to 4 days to reach the closest road-head. individuals live here throughout the year with only few folks migrating to the plains throughout the winter time.

Itinerary Details
Day 1
Bir- Billing (2350M) 2 hours drive and 4 Hours walk.
Arrive at Bir (Chougan). After that we offer you refreshment time to relax and breakfast in hotel. After rest tour start. The trek starts from the small village of Bir. From Bir it is about 8 KM on a steep short cut trail to Billing. After reaching the Billing, offering Camping activity and local sightseeing. In the evening Bonfire and dinner.
Day 2
Billing to Rajgunda (2640M) 13 KM, 5 hours.
After a brief ascent for half an hour we tend to enter the forest of rhododendron and Himalayan cedar trees. it’s nearly a gradual ascent for 2 hours to reach Chenha, from where we tend to descend all the way down to Rajgunda village. Camp close to the village.
Day 3
Rajgunda to Plachak (2920 M), 09 KM
In this short trip enclosed in order to induce acclimatized to the steep increase in the altitude. Night stay in tents.
Day 4
Plachak to Paniharthu (3750 M), 12 KM, 5 to 6 hours
It is steep ascent for few hours to reach Paniharthu, the bottom of Thamsar Pass. throughout early summer we already notice snow and ice close to Paniharthu. Camp hear for nightlong.
Day 5
Paniharthu – Thamsar Pass (4800M) – Marhu (4150M)
Leave after an early breakfast. It takes 05 hours to reach the pass after negotiating through patches of glacier and moraines. From the pass we’ve excellent view of the high chain of mountains peaks and therefore the ravi valley below. Another 3 hours to travel all the way down to following inhabitancy place at Marhu.
Day 6
Day 06: Marhu – Barabhangal Village(2450 M) 8 KM

Day 8
Suni got to Lambaparh (3715 M) 14 KM, 6 Hours
Uphill and downhill walk takes us to Lambaparh, an extended green pasture where we tend to camp for nightlong.
Day 9
Lambaparh to Devi Marhi (4230M) 11 kms
Walk on the alpine pasture till you reach Kalihani Nullah(stream) that originates from Kalihani glacier. From here we begin to ascend towards Kalihani pass. Devi Marhi is a temporary shepherd encampment where they stay nightlong begore crossing over Kalihani Pass. Camp here for nightlong.
Day 10
Devi Marhi – Kalihani Pass (4800M)- Sanghur Got 14 KM, 7 to 8 Hours
Leave after an early breakfast. Walking over the glacier it takes four hours to reach the Pass. From the pass we’ve got a decent view of the high Himalayan peaks and also the valley below. It takes another three hours to steer all the way down to the camping place.
Day 11
Shanghur Got to Lambadugh (2600 M), 16 KM, 6 hours
This time we tend to walk on the long green pasture to reach our next camping place at Lambadugh.
Day 12
Lambadugh – Manali 12 KM, 4 hours
Last day of our trek. Downhill walk throught the forest takes us to Hadimba, the road-head higher than Manali. after a brief drive you reach Manali. check in hotel in Manali.

Manali
Rest day in Manali. Explore on your own.
